500 Wörter die man besser nicht auf Twitter & Facebook sagt
Und hier die Liste: http://epic.org/foia/epic-v-dhs-media-monitoring/Analyst-Desktop-Binder-REDACTED.pdf
A recent Freedom of Information Act request has unearthed a list of words PDF that would cause the government to begin more closely monitoring your online activity. There are more than 500 words you shouldn’t say on Twitter or Facebook unless you want to be flagged by the Department of Homeland Security.
The “Media Monitoring” program is run by the Department of Homeland Security beginning in February 2011, by monitoring “online forums, blogs, public websites, and messages boards” and disseminating information to “federal, state, local, and foreign government and private sector partners.” Specific sites mentioned were the comments sections of “The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, the Huffington Post, the Drudge Report, Wired, and ABC News.” the DHS has also said that it will routinely monitor the public postings of users on Twitter and Facebook.
They do this by creating fake identities social media profiles to spy on other users, storing information gathered about users for up to five years.
In the event that your Facebook or Twitter post is flagged, a further investigation could be triggered, and information could be shared with other government agencies.
Comedian and former Attorney Dean Obeidallah commented that “If you posted on Twitter, ‘I’m going on vacation to San Diego, hope no clouds because want to catch some waves,’ your tweet would be considered suspicious because you used three words on the watch list.”
